The youth in villages of Dhaulana were usually denied better opportunities in life due to lack of job skills. SUNDESH identified this problem and partnered with IL&FS Training and Placement to bridge this gap. A programme called ‘Swawalamban’ was launched with the objective of providing job-oriented skills to youth, facilitating 100% placements.

SUNDESH mobilized candidates from more than 20 villages, identifying 280 eligible candidates who also showed interest in undergoing this skill development training. To create awareness about the skill development initiative, a job fair was organized and the candidates were assessed for their employability skills, knowledge and ability to perform. Based on this, candidates were trained for fitter & CNC and offered employment opportunities.
