To create job opportunities for youth in Hapur, Ghaziabad and GB Nagar districts of Uttar Pradesh, Sundesh started its Industrial training based skill development program named as Swawlamban in October 2013. The Program was designed to provide 45 days residential training in the trades of Industrial Fitter and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) operator. Till now Sundesh has trained three batches one batch of Industrial Fitter and two batches of CNC operator.

Process of Training:

(a) Candidates Mobilization:
To identify needy candidates from the villages of, Ghaziabad and GB Nagar districts of Uttar Pradesh, Sundesh team including field staff started conducting meeting with village representatives (Pradhan), Kisan Club, SHG members and villagers. To make the candidates understand the training curriculum and to create maximum awareness among villagers, Focussed Group Disscussions (FGDs) were organized in each target villages. Meetings were organized in each target village.

(b) Job Fair (Rojgar Mela):
Job fair was organized at SIRUC, Vill.- Chauna. The purpose of this fair was to screen the candidates for “Swawlamban”- Job oriented skill development training. Those candidates attended the job fair would went through the interviews to check their employability skill and interest for training. After councilling all candidates, final were selected for training. They registered themself by submitting a registration charge. After registration, parents of the trainee signed “Parent Consent Form”.

Finally the selected candidates went through the residential training for 45 days. Then finally the placement of all the successful student will be done.
