Urmila and Lokesh are resident of Tatarpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. She is the member of Mahalaxmi SHG. Her husband is a marginal farmer and his income is low. They were facing a lot of problems in managing their family due to economic backwardness and low Income.

There was no floormill in Tatarpur village. Urmila and her husband together decided to start a floor mill in order to increase their family income. She took a loan of rupees fifty thousand from SHG and setup a floormill in village. She charges Rs. 7 for crushing wheat and Rs. 15 for crushing Maize. Now she is working hard on this mill and is earning a handsome amount every month. People from Tatarpur and nearby villages are her customers now.

Urmila and Lokesh are now living a happy and stressful life. They are thankful to SUNDESH for running the SHG that helped them so much in their need.
