Plastic waste is another major issue, with India generating 3.3 million metric tons annually, affecting rural areas significantly. Sundesh is addressing this problem by managing plastic waste in three villages, gathering 964 kg of plastic. They motivated people by giving canvas bags for every 10 kg of plastic waste collected.
This initiative has raised awareness among villagers, who now understand the urgency of reducing, reusing, and recycling plastic. Embracing these sustainable practices ensures a healthier, more resilient environment for future generations.
