Environmental sustainability is crucial for our planet, especially in villages where natural resources are vital. Globally, we consume resources 1.7 times faster than Earth can regenerate, leading to severe deforestation—18.7 million acres lost annually. Villages can help reverse this by planting trees, restoring ecosystems, and enhancing biodiversity.
In order to promote active participation in tree planting initiatives, we provide farmers, local panchayats, and schools with saplings of indigenous tree species which aims to promote environmental conservation and sustainability
Objectives
·To encourage community-wide afforestation and
reforestation initiatives.
·To increase green cover in order to combat
environmental degradation and lessen the effects of climate change.
·To foster community participation in
conservation efforts and environmental awareness.
We actively engage with communities by highlighting the
importance of tree planting in protecting the environment and maintaining
biodiversity through awareness campaigns and educational initiatives.
Our programme heavily relies on schools, where students
participate in tree planting campaigns to develop a sense of environmental
stewardship and responsibility at a young age.
At the grassroots level, working with local panchayats guarantees
widespread support and involvement for tree planting programmes. Our initiative
to plant trees aims to create a healthier and more environmentally friendly
environment for present and future generations.
