Since its establishment in 1994, Sundesh’s Mobile OPD has been providing essential medical care and medication to underprivileged people in interior village areas. Our initiative, launched to address the healthcare needs of remote villages, operates with the mission of providing timely and accessible medical care. Our Mobile OPD reaches over 5 villages monthly, ensuring that thousands of people receive essential healthcare services. The positive health outcomes and community feedback we have received underscore the effectiveness and necessity of this program in rural healthcare delivery.
A study by the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI)
found that mobile health units reduce the incidence of common ailments by 25%
in serviced areas, highlighting their impact on preventive healthcare.
Additionally, mobile health units are a cost-effective solution for delivering
healthcare. A study by the International Journal of Health Planning and
Management found that mobile units reduce healthcare costs by 30% compared to
traditional clinics.
Our Mobile OPD has assisted 1260 patients in FY
2023-2024 and served a total of 27,006 patients to date, with 43 OPDs
conducted in this year. The goal of Sundesh's Mobile OPD is to guarantee that
healthcare is accessible everywhere, especially in interior places. Our
strategy entails providing licensed physicians and necessary drugs directly to
the areas that most require them.
Our Mobile OPD has a tremendously positive influence on the
lives of needy individuals and families, going beyond simple statistics. Our
goal is to improve overall health outcomes and quality of life by offering
prompt medical care and health education.
In the future, Sundesh is committed to enhancing the
influence and scope of our Mobile OPD. We are dedicated to addressing new
healthcare issues and helping those in need by forming strategic alliances and
employing creative thinking.
