Swasthya & Suraksha

Sundesh’s ‘Swasthya aur Suraksha,’ which translates as ‘Health and Safety,’ represents our steadfast commitment to fostering security and well-being among the young women and girls within our reach, with kitchen gardens and life skills serving as essential constituents.

Our initiative is motivated by the goal of putting health and safety first as the cornerstones of community development. We truly think that people can live healthier, safer, and more resilient lives if we foster a culture of health consciousness, safety awareness, life skills, and sustainable nutrition.

Programme Elements:

Sundesh is committed to promoting women's health and safety through our "Swasthya aur Suraksha" initiative. Through a combination of health camps, women's health clinics, and community outreach programs, we deliver comprehensive healthcare services to women in rural areas.

Our initiative addresses various aspects of women's health and well-being. This includes conducting health awareness campaigns to educate locals about nutrition, hygiene, and preventive healthcare techniques. Additionally, we organize Menstrual Health and Hygiene (MHM) workshops to provide adolescent girls with essential knowledge about menstrual health and healthy habits during their menstrual cycles.

Moreover, our initiative focuses in promoting kitchen gardens to encourage the home production of nutritious fruits and vegetables, promoting food security and a diet rich in wholesome foods.

The objectives of "Swasthya aur Suraksha" are to improve health outcomes, reduce the incidence of preventable diseases, raise public awareness of safety issues, and promote sustainable eating habits. By fostering safer lives, resilience to crises, and improved health and safety practices, our programs contribute to the overall well-being of the communities we serve.

Sundesh remains steadfast in our commitment to enhancing and expanding the "Swasthya aur Suraksha" programs. We aim to address emerging needs in nutrition, safety, and health by leveraging technology, innovation, and community-driven approaches. Through these efforts, we strive to create a lasting impact on the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
