Dr. Madhu Gupta
Dr. Madhu Gupta is a distinguished graduate from Lady Hardinge Medical College and postgraduate from Chittaranjan Seva Sadan, Kolkata, specializing in colposcopy. As the Director and Senior Consultant Gynecologist and Obstetrician at Navjeevan Nursing Home, she brings over 45 years of experience of dealing with female patients from different economic backgrounds.
Driven by her observation that women often prioritize their families over their own well-being, Dr. Gupta, along with a group of doctors and homemakers, established the “BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW” trust nine years ago, where she serves as the Chief Trustee.
The primary focus of the trust is on menstrual hygiene and promoting green menstruation. As its commitment to women’s reproductive health, the trust places a special emphasis on preventing gynecological and breast cancer through awareness campaigns, early diagnosis via screening, treatment of pre-malignant lesions and collaboration with government medical colleges for cancer treatment.
To achieve its mission, the trust collaborates with social clubs, corporate entities, district hospitals, institutions, schools and village panchayats. Over the years, the trust has screened approximately 12,000 women and vaccinated more than 2,000 girls against cervical cancer. Notably, in August, 2022, the trust, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Sahibabad, successfully vaccinated 700 underprivileged girls aged 9 to 14 in government schools in Ghaziabad.
