Ramveer Singh a Retard air force officer. He is a farmer too he personnel, decided to spend the rest of his life in his native village, Siwaya. One of his two sons deceased in an accident a few years ago. Rveer Singh and his wife were grieved. Then their younger son supported them and motivated them to involve in agricultural and plantation works to divert their minds.
Sundesh society picked up Siwaya for the NABARD Village Development Program. OPD was started through the Chunni Lal Medical Trust, a library was opened in the village and school development program was started. The village farmers were motivated to practice organic farming after conducting soil tests in their fields. Ramveer Singh participated enthusiastically in it. He planted 100 Poplar trees and approximately 50 fruit trees. He also motivated other farmers to do so. After 5 years2020, he sold those trees for a handsome amount. They are also getting ripe and juicy fruits to eat as it’s the time for the ripening of fruits that he grew.
Rramveer Singh expresses his gratitude towards Sundesh for helping them relive a life of happiness and hope which they had lost after their son’s death, and also for associating them with nature through plantation and agriculture.
